Architectural Committee:

Don Moody is the Board liaison and the ACC Chairperson for 2011.

Please don’t forget that you must submit for architectural approval PRIOR to completing any exterior modification. This includes pools, fences, accessory and incidental structures, landscaping, exterior painting and anything that will permanently change the exterior of your home or property.
There is a color book for you to review approved exterior paint colors. Please see Don to schedule to view the book.

The Committee will review your request at their posted meetings and the Board of Directors will review the Committee’s recommendations at their monthly meeting. However, if there are questions or not enough information, your request will be put on hold until the appropriate information is received. Please ensure you are submitting a survey with your modifications drawn on it (if applicable), a detailed description of the modification, materials used, etc. Please do not begin your project without the approval of the committee.

Alligators here have been sightings of alligators in the community. The first rule is DO NOT FEED THEM. When they are fed by humans, they come to expect it and may become aggressive. Secondly, KEEP YOUR DOGS ON A LEASH. Small dogs can be quite a snack for a hungry gator. Thirdly, TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN and tell them to stay away from the water and by all means do not swim in it. Tell them the dangers of taunting gators. Tell them to be cautious when outdoors and to look for gators and stay away from them. We live with the wild life and must have an appreciation and an apprehension for them!!

Please remember that NO motorized vehicles are allowed in the common areas including the playground areas and the nature trails. Please speak to all the drivers in your home and instruct them NOT to use the common areas with ANY motorized vehicle.
